This week's film wasn't going to be this at first but now
thanks to our last project i fill like this movie should be discussed. Plus it
gives me a good place to start my usual rantings so I would like to follow up on what I said
in my first post to this blog. this week's film is none other than the 2002
movie Drumline Directed by Charles Stone III and starring Nick Cannon, Zoe
Saldana and Orlando Jones. The story is basically a comedy about a talented
street drummer from Harlem who enrolls in a Southern university, expecting to
lead its marching band's drumline to victory, but he soon comes to learn that
talent alone isn’t enough to win. In my opinion the script and the acting isn’t
bad it’s just again like most of the movies I’ve seen of nick cannon pretty
basic and not really too deep. It’s not a bad film it’s just one of those films
where cursing is put to a minimum, not a lot of violence, and you don’t really
show too many interpersonal issues so it’s a pretty good family movie. on another note
Orlando Jones’s comments during the movie are pretty funny
just saying.
drumline is one of my favorite movies! what i love about drumline is the music, the characters, and the moral of the story. but i do agree, nick cannons will never be an amazing actor
